Self-help Singh, the legendary alter ego of international stand-up comedian Masood Boomgaard, comes with a live show that mixes comedy with the parody of motivational seminars – and the result is simply hilarious.

A self-described “comedic alternative life coach” and de-motivational speaker, Self-help Singh “appeared” to Boomgaard in a vision when—while panicking to the bathroom to escape the gastrointestinal effects of a bad lamb vindaloo—he slipped and hit his head. Since then, his “common sense wisdom” and hilariously unconventional advice have won over millions of viewers online.

Self-help Singh’s live performance is an enjoyable and at the same time sharp experience, satirizing the self-improvement industry and motivational seminars, offering plenty of laughter and food for thought.

In his decade-long career, Masood Boomgaard has performed in major cities like New York, London, and Dubai, and during the lockdown he even continued performing from his father’s garage. He currently lives in South Africa with his cat… for now.
